Our History

The Woodford County Woman’s Club began in 1896 when the Wednesday Study Club of Versailles was organized. It became the Woodford County Woman’s Club when it joined the General Federation of Women’s Clubs in 1920. As a non-profit, non-partisan 501(c)(3) organization, the Woodford County Woman’s Club supports charities and programs that serve the residents of Woodford County by participating in worthwhile philanthropic and educational projects and activities chosen by the members.
