Fundraising Committee

Committee Responsibilities

Proposed minimum number of members – 4

Committee Duties:

  • Work with community leaders, organizations, and businesses to identify and develop opportunities for fundraising in the community.
  • Create subcommittees (as needed) to manage staffing, publicity, etc. for fundraising events.
  • Ensure all funds raised are delivered to the Treasurer with an accurate accounting of proceeds and expenses.
  • Work with the Community Outreach Committee to ensure that appreciation is expressed to community members and organizations for material support they provide.

This committee will work closely with the Budget and Finance Committee, the Publicity Committee, the Scholarship Committee, the Special Events Committee, and the Community Outreach Committee.
