Grants Committee

Proposed minimum number of members – 3

Committee Duties:

• Maintain relationships with current Coats & Shoes grantors (UWBG and Salvation Army).
• Identify additional local, state, and federal grant opportunities.
• Work with the Treasurer and Auditor to ensure any required financial documentation is provided to potential grantors in a timely manor.
• Apply for grants.
• Track submitted grants to ensure no additional information is required.
• Work with the Treasurer when grant money is received to ensure it is properly deposited into the correct accounts.
• Write “Thank You” notes to the grantors.

This committee will work closely with the Budget and Finance Committee and the Fundraising Committee.
