Membership Committee

Proposed minimum number of members – 2

Committee Duties:

• Encourage current members to help identify and recruit potential new members, providing guidance on communications and invitations.
• Work with the Publicity Committee to promote new membership on the website, at community events, and in the Woodford Sun.
• Organize a “Welcome” tea (in the fall) or other function to include potential new members as guests. This can be in conjunction with a general meeting.
• Formally invite potential new members to attend the New Member function.
• Follow up with potential new members by mailing formal invitations to join the club.
• Provide support for members in need, in the form of “Get Well” cards for members in the hospital, meal planning / delivery for members in need, etc.

The 1st Vice President will be the Chair of this committee.
