Special Events Committee

Committee Responsibilities

Proposed minimum number of members – 4

Committee Duties:

  • Work with community leaders, organizations, and businesses to identify and develop opportunities for special events in the community.
  • Create subcommittees (as needed) to manage staffing, publicity, etc.
  • Ensure brochures, business cards, etc. are available for distribution at the event.
  • Work closely with the Treasurer and the Executive Board if the club expects to incur any expenses associated with the event.
  • Work with the Community Outreach Committee to ensure that appreciation is expressed to community members and organizations for material support they provide.

This committee will work closely with the Publicity Committee, the Fundraising Committee, and the Community Outreach Committee.
