EDUCATION

Scholarships

The Woodford County Woman's Club recognizes the value of higher education, whether it be in a typical 4-year university setting, a local community college, or a traditional vocational college. We believe that a well-educated workforce is not only essential, but that students who continue their education benefit in innumerable ways, including higher earning potential, exposure to diverse perspectives, and forming life-long friendships and connections.

The Woodford County Woman's Club is pleased to provide a $1,000 ($500 per semester) scholarship each year to a graduating Woodford County senior to attend the university or college of their choice.

Beginning in 2025, the Woodford County Woman's Club will also offer a $1,000 scholarship to a graduating Woodford County senior to attend the Vocational/Technical school of their choice. We are excited to have the opportunity to be of assistance to students who decide to become experts in their chosen professions.
